How to create a free Webhosting Cpanel server.

In this tutorial, I want to show you How to create a free web hosting Cpanel server.

First, You need to install Ubuntu 20.04 on your server or computer and I have already shown on this how to install Ubuntu 20.04 on my youtube channel. Maybe you can install an Ubuntu earlier version but I did it with Ubuntu 20.04.

Then you need to download ehcp.

EHCP (Easy Hosting Control Panel) is a free open source web hosting control panel for Ubuntu-based operating distro, which you can install on your server or computer to create a web hosting server to host one or more domains. It is very easy to install and use. It currently provides DNS, Apache WebServer, MySQL, FTP, and email configuration services. Here you will find all the services like Cpanel.

To download, you can go Here, or, You can download and install ehcp Open the console command from the terminal and type the following command:

First, you need to open the terminal of your Ubuntu server and log in with the root user. Then type the following command:

wget -O ehcp.tgz http://www.ehcp.net/ehcp_2004.tgz
 
tar -zxvf ehcp.tgz
 
cd ehcp
 
./install.sh
 

The install script will install all the required packages including Apache, MySQL, PHP, Postfix etc. During installation, it will ask you to enter some information to configure services and set ehcp admin password. Installation takes up to 20-50 minutes, depending on the speed of your Internet.

It is highly recommended that you set a MySQL ‘root’ password for MySQL administration.
